Same mail. Less noise.
Stillmail sorts your mail as it arrives and tells you why it landed where it did. Your mailbox stays the source of truth — the app only files, marks read, and trashes what you have called noise.
This signs you in and asks for nothing but your name and address. Connecting a mailbox is a separate step, and you can disconnect it at any time.
What it does
- Sorts every message on arrival
- Work that is yours to do, replies people are waiting on, newsletters, receipts and other automated notices, and the rest. Each decision carries a one-line reason you can read.
- Kills the noise
- Cron output, log dumps, monitoring that reports nothing wrong: marked read on arrival, binned after a week. Binned, not deleted — it sits in the trash, recoverable, and Stillmail never empties it.
- Cheap where it can be, smart where it has to be
- Plain rules and sender history run first, so the obvious cases cost nothing. Anything they cannot settle goes to a model that reads the message and decides.
- Learns from how you file
- Move a message by hand in Gmail or Outlook and it is taken as a correction. Repeated corrections become proposed rules, and a rule with a strong enough record starts applying itself.
- Preview before you commit
- Any rule you write reports exactly which of your last 2,000 messages it would have caught, before you save it.
- Rules in plain words
- Describe what you want in a sentence and it drafts the pattern, already previewed against the same 2,000.
- Defer without losing things
- Push anything to tomorrow, next week, or next month. It leaves quietly and comes back on time.
- Tracks what is owed
- Knows which messages still need a reply and which carry something to do, and notices when you have dealt with one — whether you replied, starred it, or just archived it.
- Chases your own asks
- Watches your sent mail, so when you ask someone for something and it never comes back, you hear about it instead of remembering three weeks later.
- A daily digest
- Everything still open, each item one click from the thread.
- No lock-in
- It is all ordinary Gmail labels, or ordinary Outlook categories. Nothing breaks if you walk away, and disconnecting revokes the token and deletes the credentials.
